Masarap ba ang Africhado?
Sino si Tigang?

I remember this was first book I finished reading and I enjoyed it. I'm not fond of books because it bores me but this local book was delivered so well that I felt like I was in the story. Words are so vocal and upright. The Filipino slang words made it even more relatable. And I actually finished this thin book for 3 days. yes, 3 days is short enough for a non-book reader like me.lol.
I've read all of Bob Ong's published book except for this one. I am glad I've read this last because I'm not disappointed. Bob Ong's narration of his childhood, particularly his school days, did well. I believe every Pinoy would have at least one participation in this book in a sense that they will think it is their story. Because it's mine. Same as it is yours.Bob Ong's trademark of not using formal words made this realistic and very Pinoy.
i remember reading this when i was in high school and i also remember how i laugh alone at bob ong's jokes. seriously, para kong nasisiraan sa kakangiti ng mag-isa. haha!
i read this book when i was still in highschool(4th yr), at hindi pa ako mahilig magbasa non. but what captured me to read this book was because I find it funny, comedic, light & it's written in bilingual!Hiram lang yung libro na yun kaya ko nabasa.i've read this book countless of times, at natatawa pa rin ako
This is a light, entertaining book about Bob Ong's time spent in school. I read this in one sitting but somehow my head felt fuller because it shows you interesting perspectives of looking at school. Underneath the signature Bob Ong humor were a lot of lessons about life, which perpetually makes reading his books interesting.
Mahal na mahal ko itong librong to. In english..i really love this book. It makes me think about my own childhood, mainly because the author mentioned here stuffs which i can relate with especially the scenes inside a class room and the type of classmates. He captured the minds of the young and young at heart.
