As someone who loves the legend of Atlantis, I really enjoyed this book. At the macrocosmic level, the book contains tensions between free will and destiny as well as love and duty. These tensions cause conflict between characters and within them, making for a dramatic story and a fast pace. I also loved the various elements of magic infusing every part of this book. I won a free download of the Kindle edition of this book through Goodreads Firstreads. I only made it about 24% of the way through this. I kept losing track of just who was who and what was going on. I'm sure the author was going of mysterious and mystical, but it really missed the mark for me.
