I was given the privilege of reading this book before it is published and I am so happy I did. I really enjoyed this story and it is very well written. The author knows how to tell a story and suck you in. I liked the different time periods written in this book and the mystery. It was also interesting to read a story set in Puerto Rico which I have never read before. I look forward to reading more from this author.Does Cupid exist Well if you dont believe it; you may have a change of heart after reading this story. I was given an ARC of this book to read for my honest review, and I have to say that I am impressed. This is the first book that I have read from Felix Alexander, but it will not be my last. This is not your typical sappy love story, but more about the endless possibilities of love. I also enjoyed the suspense in the story that kept me up till 3am. I found it to be romantically intriguing and

I love the writing in this book! This is a book for the true romantic. The author writes with a poetic hand. I thought it was atmospheric and haunting. Oddly I felt as if I were the ghost though. I was the one haunting the characters. I was transported to 1930's Puerto Rico and it was I drifting through scene after scene bearing witness to love found, love lost, love searched for, love longed for. I haunted the characters for their memories. I followed them in their search for the labyrinth. I
This has to be the most unique love and mystery book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. This story weaves several love stories together within it using a single love letter that is part of a murder investigation. I love how the passing of the letter brings forth a new tragic love story for each character and how there is also a mystery linked to it. The author is also great with putting historical elements together. the story is set in the mid 1930s, and the roles of both men and women at
Set in Puerto Rico in the year 1935, "The Last Valentine" tells a story of forbidden love and the search for the mythical (or so it was considered) Labyrinth of Love Letters. After the death of a mystery man, a bloodstained letter - the only clue to the man's identity - finds its way into Olivia Villalobos' possession. Instead of giving the letter back to the police, Olivia begins her search for the Labyrinth of Love Letters with her best friend, Isaac, to ensure that the intended recipient of
4.5/5 starsreally good story with love, mystery and letters. How romantic is to write love letters even when they are not going to be read! It sounds so beautiful. However, unrequited love may not be so "nice".There a lot of characters in this story but the central characters are Olivia and Isaac. Olivia's dad stoles a letter, a love letter, from the police department and Olivia founds it, from here everything develops: death, love, unrequited love, pain, darkness, mystery and the Labyrinth of
