This books touches a very sensitive subject and as heartbreaking it was to see, this didn't grip me as much as I thought it would. I dare say it had a lot to do with the actual heroine Brooke, who was like a thorn in my side. I found her to be self-centred and conceited and it if wasn't for the supporting characters in this book, I would have given up. If you like a lot of angst and drama this will probably be your cup of tea.

Oh my goodness, such an amazing story. It's still on my mind today. Overall, the writing is fantastic and the pacing keeps you turning the pages. The dialogue is witty and had me laughing out loud often. I liked the main character, and her dad was fantastic.
