I think Patterson deserves a big chop for this. As a fan of his work, I went into this expecting more. I had a "must-finish" syndrome with this book. There were so many times I wanted to just chuck it and move on to better things, but I kept going because I wanted to know whodunnit, even though I was pretty sure I knew who the perp was from the first few chapters and I wanted to be wrong.
