Assess Regarding Books Sweep: Volume 1 (Wicca #1-3)
Uggghhhh!!! Why do my friends keep doing this to me? I loved this book and how it makes you feel like your going through everything with the characters.

This book was supper fun do to the Wicca elements. While reading this all I wanted was to have magic and discover Wicca as did Morgan. However, the romance and friendship were very tropish and immature. Also knowing the plot twist of the second book I couldn't help but roll my eyes. It also took me like 3 weeks to read the last 35 pages, I kinda just thought it dragged so in the future I wont read the whole bind up.

I read the Sweep series for the first time last year, around this time. While my husband was away at Basic Training, I finally had peace and quiet to finally read! And it was this series that got me back into reading again. So in that sense, this series will always have a special place in my heart. And besides that, it's a pretty awesome series!I could related a lot to Morgan. I grew up Catholic but I never really thought I fit in there, it just never really felt like it was for me. I was always

*2.5Note: Im reading this series in its original single installments, but Im reviewing the bindups because there simply isnt enough content in each tiny book to review them all individually!Morgan is a self-proclaimed (and frequently-proclaimed) plain Jane who cant believe it when the god-like new kid in town falls in love with her and helps her discover that shes actually a super strong witch. The characters are cardboard (one is so vaguely referenced as ethnic that I think the author forgot she

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: http://bookbriefs.net**In honor of Halloween, I decided to dust off an old witch series and do a review of the entire series. There are 15 books in the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan. I started reading the Sweep series probably about 6 or 7 years ago (before my blog) when my Borders was going out of business. They had the first three bind up volumes for next to nothing so I grabbed books #1-9 (there are 3 books in each bind up) for I think

This series is my favorite series of all time. I read this series first when I was about 14/15 and it was love at first sight. I was completely captured by the story and characters, and above all the magic! A few people complain about how Morgan was annoying or "not confident enough" but what teenager is? I felt like I related so well at that age to all of her struggles with getting to know who she was. So rereading this series is like glimpsing into a part of my coming of age. Even if I wasn't

Re-read 10/25/18: This series hasnt aged quite as finely as I had hoped it would, but I still REALLY enjoyed it and will definitely be making my way through the rest of it over the next few months. Especially since Hunter is the OG Aaron Warner and I will not be told otherwise lmao
